Join authors Austin Bunn and Mara Naselli for a launch party, reading, and conversation on Sunday, June 7th at 7pm. Bunn, formerly an Eastown resident and GVSU professor of writing, is celebrating the publication of his debut collection of short fiction, The Brink (Harper Perennial), much of which was written at The Sparrows and Kava House in Grand Rapids. 

 

Austin Bunn's writing has appeared in The Atlantic, The New York Times Magazine, The Pushcart Prize Anthology, Best American Science and Nature Writing and elsewhere. He co-wrote the script for Kill Your Darlings, which premiered at Sundance 2013. He teaches at Cornell University.

 

Mara Naselli is an editor and writer. Her essays have appeared in The Kenyon Review, The Hudson Review, Agni, Ninth Letter, Your Impossible Voice, Fourth Genre, Los Angeles Review of Books, and elsewhere. She writes regularly for 3quarksdaily.com. Naselli teaches manuscript development in the publishing program at the University of Chicago Graham School and is a recipient of the 2014 Rona Jaffe Foundation Writers' Award.
