Grand Rapids Bike Polo will hold a tournament at Belknap Park June 15-16. The tournament is an open event for community members. The tournament will host all teams qualified in the Northside Region, pulling in folks from surrounding cities, states and provinces.

Schedule is as follows:

Friday: Registration and party at Mulligan's Pub

Saturday: Full day of Swiss Rounds, after party at SpeakEZ Lounge

Sunday: Double Elimination, followed by Michigan Brewery Tour

The tournament will hold games on brand new official polo courts, put together in two days by avid Grand Rapids players with support from community organizations and bike shops. With the expansion, future opportunities to host tournaments and events for the cyclists and organizations will be a greater possibility.

The tournament is an opportunity to experience bicycle polo and witness the growth and interest in the sport. Courts will be available for newcomers to test skills and get a feel for playing bike polo.
