Dominican Center at Marywood offers you a choice of three different levels of yoga; one of them will surely fit your level of activity, flexibility and strength.   If you are interested in yoga, but would like to begin gently, Chair Yoga may be just the thing for you. In this class you will gently move your body using a chair to help you with flexibility, strength, and balance. Seated movements, standing/balancing poses, deep breathing and rest will be woven throughout. You will leave feeling refreshed and energized, yet calm and relaxed.

If you have previously participated in a yoga class, you may wish to select Yoga Basics or Yoga Beyond Basics.  All three classes with times and a link to online registration are listed below.

Yoga is a gift you give yourself. It acknowledges that you are worthy enough to take time to care for and nurture your body, mind, and spirit. It is a gift that invites you to feel whole, happy and healthy. Come cultivate flexibility, strength, and balance in your body, calm and quiet in your mind, and peace and joy in your spirit. Read more about Susan Duesbery, our yoga instructor, below the program information.

Cost and Registration: $80.00 per series of 8 sessions. (This is the price for each series of the three levels listed below.) Walk-ins are welcome as space permits for $12.00 per session. To register online for one of these classes, click on the program number at the top of your selected level below; if you prefer to register by phone, call the DCM front desk at 616.514.3325.
