First broadcast on television in the U.K., "Sri Lanka's Killing Fields“ is a hard-hitting investigation into the final weeks of the Sri Lankan civil war, containing devastating video evidence of horrific war crimes. It contains very graphic footage in a long format documentary and therefore has more impact on the public than a written report. The film has been hugely important, making it impossible for diplomats to ignore that gross human rights violations took place.
