Local community radio station WYCE will be setting up a booth at the Eastown StreetFair onthis Saturday, September 14. All different genres of music will be sold, most of them going for only a dollar. CDs and LPs will both be sold at the sale.

All proceeds of the sale go to benefit 88.1 FM WYCE. This independent radio station, a service of the Grand Rapids Community Media Center, works to promote the different communities of Grand Rapids through both radio broadcasting as well as online streaming of music.

"WYCE is an important organization to raise funding for because it allows non-professionals to get in on the mix, while also supporting the community. There's no set playlist that gets repeated at WYCE, each programmer picks their own setlist which really makes room for eccentric and various genres of music," says Amy Heinhuis, a previous WYCE programmer.
