Jefferson Avenue is currently decorated with vintage Christmas lights and ornamentation with a nostalgic charm. From Fulton to State Street, trees lining Jefferson Avenue are strung with the large opaque bulb lighting. Lamp posts are adorned with tinsel Christmas decor such as bells and candles. The old Public Museum is showcasing two vintage themed window displays.

The decoration is part of a larger homage to Downtown's past where a Christmas tree is lit in Monument Park that replicates the one that used to be hung from Herpolsheimer's Department Store facade. In Veteran's Park stands a 16 foot tall candle, similar to the one that used to sit at the corner of Fulton and Sheldon.

The display is presented by Fubble Entertainment in partnership with Downtown Grand Rapids Inc., Grand Rapids Public Museum, City of Grand Rapids and Christmas Decor along with individual contributions.
