Keiffer and Friends Pit Bull Rescue founded in 2013 is hosting a viewing of the film Beyond the Myth on Saturday March 29th at 7:00PM at Wealthy Street Theatre in Grand Rapids. Beyond the Myth focuses on the negative stigma that American Bull Terriers (Pit Bulls) have received in recent decades. The event will include a raffle with over $500.00 in prizes and information on Pit Bulls the whole family can take home and think about. Beyond the Myth has toured across America and garnered positive reviews from animal experts and animal lovers alike.

"I think the film is fantastic. I think it really delves deep into the whole issue and really explains it and explains it from both sides. That's what I like about it. Because it's not just saying that every single Pit Bull is fantastic and none of these dogs are dangerous . It's exploring it from every single point of view." -Victoria Stilwell, Trainer and Host of Animal Planet's "It's me or the dog."

Keiffer and Friends mission is to raise awareness of the Pit Bull's positive traits and offer forever homes to Pit Bulls that have been surrendered for many reasons or abandon. They have developed an in-depth training and behavior program to ensure that all dogs are well trained and placed in a forever home that fits their personality.

For tickets to the event you can visit http://www.grcmc.org/theatre/ or go to the Wealthy Street box office. Tickets are $9.00 in advance and $10.00 day of the show. CMC members save $2.00 off the price of admission.
