I'd been looking for an office toaster for quite a while, and friend kindly offered me their extra Hello Kitty™ toaster. Imagine my surprise when I discovered the image of Japan's favorite feline imprinted on every slice.

high art, for sure. this made me smile, anyway.
Does "extra Hello Kitty toaster" mean that your friend had an extra toaster that happened to be the Hello Kitty brand (literal and figurative), or that he/she had multiple Hello Kitty toasters? I like the idea that someone would love the Hello Kitty toaster so much that they would keep back-ups on hand in case one needed to go into the shop. I also like the concept of there being a Hello Kitty toaster repair shop.
