This audio file is an interview with Kym Spring about Strategies to Address Housing Quality and Sustainable Neighborhoods, a position paper which was presented to the Grand Rapids City Commission this morning. The paper is the product of an extensive collaboration between Foreclosure Response and the Healthy Homes Coalition of West Michigan, and is supported by 24 local community organizations. In this interview Kym speaks about her work with the city to establish stronger policies to address the foreclosure crisis and its direct effects on the rental market and vacant properties in Grand Rapids.

Disclosure: I have done some informal volunteer work for Foreclosure Response.
