The GVSU Downtown Toastmasters Club teaches public speaking and leadership skills to students, faculty, administrators and professionals in the Grand Rapids community.
Members and guests will have the opportunity to listen and participate in Table Topics, our club's weekly, informal impromptu speech contest. Members and guests will also hear one or two prepared speeches at each meeting, given by club members who are working on speech objectives from their Toastmasters International speech manuals.
Club members and interested guests are more than welcome to join us for our weekly meetings. Our club meets on Thursday mornings from 7:30 to 8:30, in the beautiful University Club (room 107C) on GVSU's downtown campus. Coffee and light refreshments provided.
