Now in its 22nd year, the Grand Rapids Choir of Men & Boys will present once again its Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols for Christmas in the original forms and tradition of King’s College Choir Cambridge as established in 1918. The nine Lesson Readings will all come from the King James Version of the Bible. The structure of Lessons & Carols is to tell the story of humankind through nine selected scripture passages, beginning with the fall into sin in Genesis, through old testament promises of a Redeemer, and finally through the birth of Christ in the gospels. One or two carols are chosen to correspond with each of the readings.
Cost: FREE - a freewill offering will be taken
