Get Charged Up with the City’s New Electric Vehicle
Charging Stations
The City of Grand Rapids will be holding a kick-off event to announce the availability of Plug-In Electric Vehicle charging stations throughout the downtown area in and around City facilities.
When: Tuesday, January 24, 1:00 p.m.
Where: Ottawa Avenue parking spaces – north of Michigan Street near Calder Plaza
Participants will include:
· Mayor George K. Heartwell
· Christina Keller of Cascade Engineering
Sixth grade students from Grand Rapids Public School’s Center for Economicology, representatives from Consumers Energy, and others will be in attendance.
