The Fiery Furnaces – Fountain Street Church - Friday April 16th 2010

The brother sister duo of Brooklyn, New York,  Mathew and Eleanor Friedberger, will bring their rich and mischievous brand of Indie Pop to  Grand Rapids on Friday April 16th. With their signature speak-easy pianos and lyrical story telling the Fire Furnaces have won audiences performing cocky and playful riffs that flirt with classic soul, pop, and folk elements. With lyrics that are more than a little socially conscious, it is fitting that the Fiery Furnaces appearance “Live at the Fountain” will, in part, benefit local green team The West Michigan Environmental Action Council (WMEAC). The concert is second annual partnering between the concert series and the environmental non-profit (it was Ritchie Havens last year) and the evening will kick off with an Eco Action Expo and “Triple Top Line” awards presentation.  A local act will kick off the musical part of the event.

Concert Details: Friday April 16th, 2010 - Doors open at 6:30pm - Concert at 8:00pm

Tickets: Adults $20, Students & Seniors $15

Tickets available at all Schuler Book Stores & On-line at www.liveatthefountain.org
