Engineering Week 2012 - Thinking Big and Building Small – Engineering Made Fun
Explore various applications of math, engineering, problem solving, drawing, estimation, mechanics and other concepts through fun, hands-on engineering activities:
· Robotics and Electronics
· Bridge Design Concepts
· Road and Pavement Design
· Water and Waste Water Treatment Concepts.
Student program:
Dates: February 20, 22, and 24, 2012 • 9 am – 3:30 pm
Grades: 3-7, limited capacity, reservations required to Brae Brown @ 616.929.1754.
Length: 90 minutes
Cost: $5 per student (includes general admission)
This program is offered through a partnership with the Western Chapter of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers and the Western Michigan Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
