Mike and Johnny Brann's is known for its Sizzling Sirloin Steak, served up by John Brann Sr. over 50 years ago, but the restaurant also has a lot for those whose tastes stray from red meat. For starters, an onion straw loaf goes a long way. Diners can follow that up with wings, salads, soups, chicken, seafood, ribs, sandwiches, wraps, one of eight burger baskets and more. Brann's serves all-you-can-eat ribs on Thursdays for $13.99 and $.50 wings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Brann's was opened in 1960 by John Brann Sr. It was just a steakhouse then, where upwards of 800 steak dinners were sold on Saturday nights. Since then, Mike and Johnny Brann, and a few others, have continued that tradition with locations around Grand Rapids and other parts of Michigan. During ArtPrize, hungry visitors can find a meal at Brann's, along with a friendly and social environment, for less than many upscale restaurants charge.
