Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is accepting entries for the annual Ray and Nancy Loeschner Art Competition.

Celebrating its 15th year, the annual competition welcomes artists from around the globe. Through the generosity of the Loeschner family, the winning entry will be awarded a prize of $5,000 and will become part of Meijer Gardens’ permanent collection. The competition is open to all artists who are of college age and older working in a two-dimensional format.

Artists are encouraged to submit original two-dimensional works inspired by Meijer Gardens. To participate, submit digital images and prints of the artwork, as well as the application form, by October 27. If selected as a finalist, Meijer Gardens will request delivery of the original artwork on November 10.  The winner will be chosen by December 15.

Since 2002, the Loeschner Art Completion has sought outstanding artwork inspired by Meijer Gardens. For more information and to view past winners, visit this link.
