Congressional Candidate Forum to Highlight Environmental Issues to Local Voters
WMEAC Hosting Environmental Issues Congressional Forum October 12 at the Pinnacle Center
The West Michigan Environmental Action Council is presenting the 2010 Environmental Issues Congressional Forum with candidates from the Second and Third Michigan Congressional Districts on October 12 at the Pinnacle Center (3330 Highland Dr) in Hudsonville at 6 p.m.
Second District Democratic Candidate Fred Johnson and Third District Democratic Candidate Pat Miles will be discussing pressing local and national environmental issues such as children’s environmental health, protecting the Great Lakes, the nation’s energy agenda and environmental stewardship. Audience members will also have the opportunity to submit questions for the candidates.
All major party candidates were invited to the forum.
The event is presented in partnership with the Michigan Environmental Council and moderated by WGVU-FM producer and morning show host Shelley Irwin.
