This Monday, October 3, artist Laura Milkins is celebrating the completion of her "Walking Home" project with a reception from 7 - 9 PM at the (106) Gallery. Laura is a Performance Artist based in Tuscon, Arizona and will have completed walking a 2000 mile trip from her home in Tucson to her mother's home in Grand Rapids. Throughout the entire journey, Laura has been collecting stories and sharing her experience with a live webcam that streams on her website.
Please join us from 7 - 9 PM to get to meet the artist, hear about her journey and enjoy some refreshments.
Camera-shy attendees take note, Laura will still be recording at the event.
