The purpose of this event is to promote community fitness, physical activity, health and wellness of the Greater Grand Rapids Area. A healthy community is a vibrant community. This is one of the several GRPS activities that will serve to have a positive impact of current unfavorable health and wellness statistics throughout Kent County.
All proceeds will go to support athletic programs within the school district for their continue d existence and eliminate the “pay for play” concept for school athletics.
So, grab your running shoes on Thanksgiving Day and “use your feet before you eat”. Start a new Thanksgiving Day tradition with your family!
Race Begins: 8:00am
Mini-Trot - Race for Kids (12 and under) will take place after the Turkey-Trot (approximately 8:40am).
Registration: Register to run/walk or trot at www.classicrace.com or pick-up forms at any GRPS
School Athletic Office
Early Registration from now to October 31st – $22.00
Registration from November 1st -23rd – $25.00
Day of the Race Registration – $30.00 (6:30am to 7:45am)
Mini-Trot – FREE
*Registrations will be accepted on November 23rd th at the Packet Pick-up location – Cornerstone University - Bernice Hansen Athletic Center (2-6pm).
